As air travel is one of the most common ways human traffickers move victims, we believe the aviation industry has a critical role and responsibility in the fight against human trafficking. We are very proud to announce the launch of Flair’s Safe Passage program, in partnership with police services in Canada. The Safe Passage Program goes beyond traditional staff training by establishing direct partnerships with law enforcement agencies including the Peel Region Police, Toronto Police Services, and Halifax Regional Police. This program is unique as it collaborates directly with law enforcement to provide immediate support to survivors. This includes facilitating flights to safety and access to critical services through a dedicated mileage program, with ongoing refinement based on feedback from law enforcement to ensure responsiveness to survivor needs. This program is crucial in providing immediate support to survivors and combating trafficking effectively.
