flying  with flair

I’m Maria, and I’m here to take you through my Flair Airlines trip to Toronto. I want to start by highlighting that the in-air and pre-flight experience with Flair Airlines was wonderful. It was such a quick flight to the east coast of Canada. The staff were extremely pleasant, my snacks were stocked and the Captain was very kind!

trip tip

Don’t miss out on the Omni King Edward Hotel’s high tea!

the omni king edward hotel

The Omni King Edward Hotel was such a luxurious, fun little getaway. To this day, I miss those gentle knocks on the door in the morning signally me that my fresh brew was ready. It truly felt like a little vacation. The afternoon tea topped it off with their amazing range of plant-based options and delicious tea pairings. Overall, the hotel was top notch and their staff reflected that.

trip tip

ask your guide history about the area – their knowledge is fascinating!

eating through TO

Eating Through TO was so fun and vibrant! A highlight for me was the veggie cabbage roll from this adorable Polish stand but honestly, there’s a hidden gem to discover in every corner or stand. Make sure to check out Eating Through TO to get the full curated experiences. Their guides are so friendly, informative and full of life!

st. lawrence market

The market itself was so high-energy, filled with colourful produce and your senses were constantly stimulated by the cultural abundance. If you’re looking to prepare fresh dishes with fruits or veggies then this market is your sure choice.

trip tip

The market is surrounded by some of Toronto’s best graffiti, making it an IG hot spot!

kensington market

Kensington isn’t just for those intrigued by the arts, it’s filled with artisanal foods like chocolate and homemade bread as well as organic skincare, vintage wear and more!

trip tip

If you stop by Byblos be sure to eat their Kale Rice – it was to die for!

planta & byblos

While in Toronto we had the opportunity to eat at so many amazing restaurants. Our favourites being Planta and Byblos. They were both very friendly, had visually appealing locations with stunning aesthetics, ambience and incredibly delicious food. Their vegan/plant-based options were impressive and I would highly suggest both experiences when visiting Toronto.
