We arrived in Abbotsford and began our 48 hours of unwinding by checking out a couple breweries which are part of the Abby Ale Trail. Both Raven’s Brewing Co. and Field House have a lot to offer in terms of a good brew and great atmosphere.

One of the most well-known things to do in Abbotsford is Bloom, the Tulip Festival. It is as beautiful as it looks online and surpassed our expectations when we visited.

Home of many Hallmark movie sets, Downtown Abbotsford has so many incredible places to hit from shopping, to baked goods and restaurants.

old hand

For all the coffee lovers out there, Old Hand is the place to refuel. An easy antique vibe with just the right amount of greenery and baked goods to make you stay awhile. Old Hand also considers the kiddies, with a small play and seating area and some books for your littles.

When visiting British Columbia, a must do is wineries and Maan Farms is one of the most family friendly wineries in the area. With goats to feed, pedal carts to race and a giant trampoline, as well as a general store, cafe and wine tasting bar, it makes for a fun filled day for the whole family.
